The electrified Rail Baltica that runs 870 for kilometres (of which 213 km in Estonia) is one of the greatest investments ever made both in improving the travel possibilities of the Estonian people and promoting entrepreneurship, tourism and trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The route provides passengers with speeds of up to 240 km\/h (design speed 249 km\/h) and creates a whole new opportunity for conveniently and quickly travelling to Latvia and Lithuania and from there to Central Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Freight trains are estimated to have speeds of up to 120 km\/h, and movement of goods from the road to the railway contributes to Estonia\u2019s environmental goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rail Baltica (Tallinn-P\u00e4rnu-Riga-Kaunas-Warsaw) is part of the main network of the North Sea-Baltic Sea transport corridor of the pan-European transport network (TEN-T) and is among the priority projects for financing EU cross-border and intra-EU connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rbestonia.ee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">READ MORE<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Rail Baltica is your future\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/n3gbWaD5O1E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00dclemiste Joint Terminal is the starting point for the first high-speed railway connection in the Baltic States \u2013 Rail Baltica!
